A Brief Musical History..........

         It all started at an early age. Being in St. James Church choir gave me my first experience of being paid to sing, what a great idea !! After realizing just how stupid I looked in the dress, I left the choir and learnt to play the organ ( the one at home in the hallway, not the big one in the church! ).

         It was during my “Music G.C.S.E.” that I began learning to play the guitar and it wasn’t long before I was asked to join a band, not because I could play the thing, but just because I had one !!

         In 1988 I joined “Limitations” a school band, playing Rock n Roll cover versions and when the singer ( who’s name escapes me ) failed to turn up, I had to take over in the role !! So, it was from choirboy to front-man in a few short years !! Limitations then went on to win the 1988 Trowbridge talent show and after that, spent 3 years performing in and around the west-country in various pubs, clubs and function events.

         At 17, I decided it was either a solo musical career or a proper job !! So, as no surprise to anyone, I just couldn’t face getting up every morning, so, a solo career it was !! Working extensively for a local entertainments agency, I was already performing 5-6 gigs every week, and that’s what I have been doing ever since !!

         As well as the solo career, I have also performed in other various duos & bands including :

The Acoustic Band ( with other solo acts ), Glad All Over ( A rock n roll band ), Karizma ( function band )& Stranger ( with my wife, Kayleigh ).

         I am currently, not only working solo, but also with The Two Beatles Show, BA-Reckless ( Bryan Adams Tribute ), An 80’s Tribute & as a Tribute To Buddy Holly !!
